Okay, so I was gonna play some beats live and use my 1000 alongside my tables for a show i'm doing tonight (I want to go back and forth mixing beats and records), but I hooked my MP into my mixer as if it were a table, and I get this loud distorted feedback. Does that have to do with grounding? Is there a way I can ground my 1000, as I would my tables? Or is something else wrong?

TIMP: how's your set-up? You have a three channel mixer?

(I'm doing a gig soon with my MPC 1000 and two turn tables...)

Thanks,

Chris.
You have a three channel mixer?
Most DJ mixers have a "dual" inputs on each channel that is selectable between phono and line. Just switch that side it when you are on the other channel and you get to mix back to the "third" source.
