MPC1000 pads version.3

Hey,

Has anyone tried using the pad sensors from the MPK 61 or 88 in their 1000 yet?

I've spoken to spare parts at Akai and they have been producing version 3 pad sensors for the MPK 61 and 88. I wonder whether these sensors are being used in the new batch of 1000s?

And if would be cool to know if the current 1000 pad upgrade kits use version 2 sensors...

i've never heard of "version 3"...
