I'm new to mpc's please help

Hi,

I just got my first mpc(1000) today which I bought on ebay. It came with with os1 jj 4.4 installed, but I would like to install v4.99 os1 - where do I stand with this? do I need to buy a password even though os1 is already installed?

No need to buy the password again as this has this has been used for installing the older OS1 version.

Just update with the latest file available : http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/
