I've got JJOS 2.0 running and am trying to use the Q-link Note On Sample Start to adjust the sample start of a sample while the track is playing.

I've assigned Q-link 2 to Note On Sample Start and assigned it to a pad that is repeatedly triggered in my pattern but there is no noticeable affect when I move the slider.

Any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong? Does this feature work for others?

Bump.

Can anyone help me get the Q-link sliders to work in Note On mode? It doesn't seem to matter what I assign them to I can't get them to do anything.

Thank you!

Edit: let me clarify that they do work if I trigger the pads manually or with the note repeat but not when I play back.

you can record yourself manually trigger the pad while adjusting the start with
note on.

you cannot adjust the start of previously recorded notes in realtime, like you can the tune, level, etc..

hope that clarifies things for you

yes you can. press the AFTER button above the qlink and you can adjust the start, end or anything else live on pre-recorded notes. you can even record your qlink adjustments right into the sequence using OVERDUB.

this is on JJ OS 2. i don't know if you can do this in the regular (crap) Akai OS.
