Drum sample wont loop correctlly!!

Hey folks Im quite new the MPC 1000. I actually have the manual Beatmaking on MPC1000. Ive went over several chapters pertaining to. The Step Edit and Seq Edit Funtions,Trim, Timestretch, BPM, T.C. over and over agian. And I cant seem to get a simple drum sample to fit correctly with in 3 bars without overlapping. How in the hell do I get it to smoothly loop? Your wisdom is greatly appreciated. Im using the stock OS that came with the MPC 1000 ver 2.13... Mike

have you tried changing the tempo?

Ya. I tried the tempo. The problem is my drum sample ends right b4 the 3rd bar. It stops @ 002.04.52 So theres this small patch of silence. B4 the loop cycles through. How do I get rid of it? So it flows smoothly.

if that happened to me, i'd put sample(s) on top of it to see if that would make the silence less obvious

I got it. I shortened the bars to 2 and played with the tempo. Thanks for advice..

u could also change the pitch by small amounts esp if u havent started putting anything else on the loop yet
