NEED HELP SYNCING JJOS 3.08 TO LOGIC 9

I have bought an mpc 1000 which has jjos 3.08 on it and when i read tutorials on how to setup to logic 9 it says go to sync and change settings to midi clock and things like that but the problem is i dont have them options. can anyone help me with this?
