Hey guys!
I´m having a pretty hard time trying to sync MPC 1000 MIDI clock with Alesis Performance Pad. I simply want to use it to shoot MPC sounds with drumsticks. I´ve followed the Manual Instructions of both equipments and when was time for Alesis Performance Pad to play a song to sync MIDI clock with MPC... nothing happenned. Could you please help me? Has anybody here had the same problem, with Alesis Performance Pad or similar?

Are you tring to play sequences on drum pad? then i suggest you slave midi to MPC and hook 2 midi cables up, both in and out . make sure midi is set right....set MIDI to recieve clock on drum pad if it can. should then be slaved to mpc and when you hit play on mpc, the sequence on the drum pad should start. Drum pad should have a midi channle out and you could send that to a track set to corresponding midi channle on MPC and record MIDI of your drum performance live with both sequencers running.. I do not have this drum pad mind you, just how i would set it up. hope it helps
