Problems with wave files on the Mpc 1000

I have my Mpc 1000 now for 3 weeks and i have the problem that when i export wave files from ableton live or audacity and want to load my files in the mpc, he tells me that some of the files i want to load are wrong files. The strange thing is that some of the "wrong files" can be played in the preview but can not be load. All my samples are exportet with 44.1 khz and 16 bit. I was really looking forward to work with my new mpc, but now it kinda frustrates me. I would be very grateful if somebody could help me. gz

are there any filenames longer than 16 characters or with odd symbols in the names?

No! I tried now to use only one latter per sample but is still some doesn't work. But thanks for the tip anyway!
Should i maybe use a other sofware to export my samples. Anybody has some expierence?

I have used 16/44.1 WAV files from a lot of different programs in my mpc1000, and never once had a problem. Keep trying things-- It must be something simple.
