Problem with the pads when i turn my mpc on

Hi, i have a mpc 1000 (black) with a hard drive installed and when i turn my mpc on; for a short amount of time the pad are working but after few seconds the pad doesn't work anymore.

Did anybody have this issue? what should i do?
