MPC 1000 Playback double beat problem help

I turned on my mpc1000 the other day and all of the programs and samples that are played (mine or the built in ones) play doubled. There are no effects on, nothing changed. I erased it and reloaded defaults, same problem. I had 2.11 os, upgraded to 2.13 os. same issue. I reloaded to JJOS and same issue..... I am confused as what is happening.

//EDIT - Found out the problem to be windows 7 as the MPC1000 was connected to the computer at the time for audio playback. The LINE IN PROPERTIES option under the LISTEN TAB was set to "LISTEN TO THIS DEVICE" which causes a loop back, thus the double sound.

First thing I would've done is disconnect the MPC from the PC and THEN check the pads with some headphones on. Future advice for ya dude... But good job on figuring it out. Cheers.
