hey guys, ive been a member of mpc forums for quite some time but have just read posts and this is my first topic just a quick into to say hi and tell ya ill be around for a while and stuff. ok soooo ive been producing hiphop beats on the mpc since i was in high school at 18, im now 20 so a little over 2 1/2 years or so. all my music i make by sampling in my mpc. melody's, drums , basslines, vocals ect.. about a year ago i started fooling around with reason 4 makin dubstep. im just comfortable on my mpc and dont really like producing in software so i have been moding my own synths in reason and making my dub bassline melodies and recording them into my mpc and choppin them up and making programs then using my drum samples and vocal samples and fully producing in the mpc.
ive always known you can hook up keyboards and what not into the mpc thru midi to record sequences but never thought much about it because i never use a keyboard with sounds on it. i use and old ghetto ass 80's organ thru midi into reason,
i recently have seen videos where producers use reason and their midi controller and play thier synths from reason directly into the mpc as a sound module. i am very very intrested in doin this and need some help.

all the setups i have seen are like axiom controllers and stuff and they are usb input into the pc. my midi controller (organ) only has 1 midi in and 1 out. to set it up as a sound module i believe i would need to have a usb midi controller ..correct?
because i need the midi port out on the organ for the midi in on the mpc, but need a usb so it works in reason i think.. im confused and need help.

if anyone uses software as a sound module give me some advice. i cant offord a new controller right no so i think im shit outa luck. im super sleep deprived so excuse mt typos. im too lazy to proof read this right now aha

thanks for the reply man!! i have a m audio usb midisport 2x2 for my midi. i record analog sounds thru my m audio fast track audio interface but i am only using it for my monitors right now. so all midi is thru the midisport. its my dads old setup he gave to me. its harsh but gets the job dont till i can get a new interface with 8 preamps and midi all in 1. cause im a drummer and need to record my kit with 7 mics. im thinking of waiting till i get my new interface but if i can get this reason module set up now id be stoked.
