I'm sorry If this has been asked over and over. I searched and couldnt find anything. Not even on google.

I'm wondering if you have logic studio 9 setup with mpc1000, can you chop samples up in logic and send it to mpc? I have midi to usb cable hooked up. Lets say I have a sample in logic imported. I chop it up in logic. Than can I send that to MPC and have it assigned to pads. And when recording it records everything in logic?

You can either:

1. transfer the chopped samples into the MPC via compact flash or USB (note I'm not talking about USB to MIDI, I mean USB to USB) and map them out,

2. use a program like MPCmaid to map out the chopped samples, and then transfer the program and samples to the MPC and load them up, or

3. keep the chopped samples in Logic, map them out into EXS24 or Ultrabeat (or some third party plugin sampler), and use the MPC to trigger them via MIDI.

Can you explain how I do the third one?
