Are all the Mpc's built as bad as the 1000

i thought it wouldnt happen to me but it finally did
the pads started going so i started using other pads
now the actual mode button is broken and some other buttons are on the verge of breaking as well

couldn't this thing have been built better? i mean reading these responses people are acting as if its common to open ur mpc and solder new tact switches to it - regularly...

after i get mine repaired im thinking of selling it and getting a diff mpc or sampler altogether

dont take this the wrong way either
im just pissed off cuz i have projects that im using this mpc for and now there all on hold...

I do not know about the other makes of the MPC.Although if you have a 1000 get ready to do some
repair work at a price.Of all the equipment I own it is by far the cheapest manufactured hands
down.I have a 70s moog holding up better than this cheap design.AKAI is now known for cheap and
shoddy work.The real irony is with the latest JJOS the MPC 1000 is also the best.Also there are vids to
help repair switches pads ect.Good luck TYPO
