"release" issue?

I chopped up a break in Recycle, imported it, but when i play them on the pads there's a bit of extra undesired sound at the end of it. I'm guessing this is release, and I don't want any of it. Just for the sample to stop completely at the end. I've searched the forums and couldnt find anything in the manual on how to get rid of it.

found the decay option that gets rid of it but is there another, better way to do this?

You need to go back to recycle and change your settings in there and rechop the sample. Or you could try mpcmaid. Or any of a billion other ways to chop the sample (like for example your mpc...).

yeah, always turn off "stretch" in recycle.

practice chopping in your mpc. infinitely better than lame recycle.
