This is probably a dumb question....
Its just that i cant get an honest answer by someone who does this daily.
So here we go: "Can i save sequence to my hard drive, & then continue, or load it some other day????

I bought a hard drive, havn't installed it yet, but im just a little concerned i wont be able to load it, like i can my KORG TRITON.

Im kinda afraid i'll loose all the work i put in to the beat, when i turn it off.

Any & all info will be greatly appreciated.

There's quite a few save options.
I've been using JJ since I can't remember, but i think Akai OS is the same.

You can save the entire memory, so when you load it in the MPC it is set up in the exact state as you left it.

You can save bits like programs only or individual samples and individual sequences.

But what I like to do is save the entire memory in one folder. Then in a neighbouring folder I save variations of my individual sequences along with a quick sample of what it sounded like, so at a later date, with fresh ears, I can choose which one was the best & work on from there.

Short answer... Yes
