Is there a way to save old os?

Is there any way to save the old akai os that was pre-loaded on the mpc
before updating to a new os?

I noticed akai only has the latest os on their website right now.

On my 2000xl I can save the pre-loaded os as a bin file from the save screen,
onto a zip or whatever -
but can't find this function on the 1000.


(And don't worry, I will be getting jjosxl as soon as I get paid)

I just wouldn't mind having a backup selection of os's available.

no os backup on 1000.
the latest os is a good enough back up so just download that from akai and yeah if you get JJos you wont use it anyways
