Is my motherboard dying? Dead?

It's a Flat Flexible Cable commonly abbreviated as FFC. These cables go into everything so you should be able to fine of locally. Just make sure you match up the number of conductor, orientation and the length of the cable. 20 positions. I assume the L210 means it is 210 cm.

sorry to get off topic but did you have a step by step walkthrough on how to replace the 1000's PCB board? im thinking of replacing my PCB board but am not 100% how to do it. can anyone help me out?

does anybody know a link to instructions with pictures on how to take the ribbon cable out? (The pinched one on the pictures I posted before.) Have to open up the mpc some more... Haven't had time to do it but going to do it now.

Gonna check what price the cable goes for at Mpcstuff or get it locally, but have to take it out first so I know i get the right one.
