MPC 1000 stuck to my pants

I seriously hate some of the knobs and buttons on the MPC1k because I get them stuck to my shirt, pants, socks, and sometimes even skin. This is a bit embarassing but once I even got the skin of my DXXX caught in the mpc by accident. What in the heck is going on with this? Please help. Also JJOS did not help my situation.

dont try to f*ck your mpc

this was happening to me as well..
you've gotta upgrade your RAM to 128mb, otherwise your DXXX keeps getting stuck.
i upgraded my RAM, and now i don't get stuck anymore.
