multiple midi tracks with mpc 1000?

Is it possible to assign one drum kit to one track, say (track) channel 11
and another kit to say (track) channel 12

in otherwords, is the mpc multitimbral?

How do I do this? I cant seem to find it in the manual?

I have my oberheim setup on channel 10 on my sequencer (monomachine), and the mpc soft through as track 11, this makes it not multitimbral, if I have the soft thru setup as 'as track' it is like an omni mode where the mpc is triggered on every track of the sequencer-

Id like to set up the mpc to have one kit on track 11, another on track 12, another on track 13, etc-

can anyone help with this quandary?
