Hey guys,

I've had my 100 for a month or so now. So far I've been recording my tracks through my interface into record, through a quarter inch cable from stereo L output on the MPC to my interfaces quarter inch input ( M-audio fast track has no midi).

So, sooner or later once I get the funds I'm going to be getting a new interface with midi inputs but until then I need some assistance. At first I recorded a track into record no problem at all. No static, no nothin' it was perfect. Suddenly now every time I keep getting this horrible static every time which is really hard to drown own. I've tried levels of gain and volume and other cables nothing seems to stop it.

Here's an example

I understand most of the static I'm getting is on the samples themselves from my record player, yet the main one (and loudest) is from the MPC.

It's not the interface for I have used other instruments on it and I do not get any kind of interference.

If anyone has ever delt with this situation or knows anything to help resolve my problem, or even anyone who has some good suggestions for an interface for when I scrape up the dough let me know!

Thanks.

check your gain structure!! did you change gain on interface? try to get your gain structure right and then usuall stuff about noise...... Is it RF interference, or ground loop? thats what ya gotta figure out then you can fix it
