Hello Everyone,

Im in a bit of a shitty situation while opening my mpc for the 100th time, i accidentally broke of the hinge/lock/latch ( ? what is the correct name for this part ) that locks down the 20pin flex ribbon cable going between the mainboard to the right side board where the jog wheel and all navigation is found..

the hinge/lock/latch that locks down ribbon in the socket ( service manual part J102 - 21842X. SOCKET 20FMZ-ST 20P ) is on the main board, so i rather than trying to get a new mainboard or have someone paid to actually put in a new hinge ( whatever its called ) seems a bit overkill im trying to track down the piece..

i wouldn't mind desoldering and replacing the whole piece myself but no one seem to carry this part and i cant even find anything close on digikey/mouser or anything like that..

is it considered a flex socket? i mean this stuff is common in pc's too ( laptops ) but i cant find nothing even close..
i know i have to find the right pitch between the pins etc. etc. im fine with that just i cant find remotely what this style of socket is called or anywhere ( akai, mpc/vsttstuff ) that carry it at all..

only remote thing i found during a google search was some japanese ( but no info ) which didnt get me any further..

any help greatly appreciated..
