Hello. I want to connect my MPC 1000 and Korg Radias together into my mac book pro. I will be running logic studio.
I have no idea how to connect them all together. I have all the updates and Drivers on the mac.
Can I even connect the Radias and MPC 1000 together. Is that what THRU midi is?
Can the radias act as the midi controller or can the MPC act as the controller?
would I have better luck just using straight USB cables for each device running into my computer? should i even bother with the MIDISPORT UNO (MIDI to USB) cables and go straight USB?
I just don't know if the two programs can interact on APPLE LOGIC via seperate USB. I don't know if i should run the MIDI to USB cable to one then from that machine just run a straight USB cable to the MAC?
I am very new to the idea of hooking the midi devices together and running them into a computer. If anyone has any advice or simple tutorials that can get my understanding this concept I would be very grateful. Even if it doesn't answer my questions. I should really read up on it but the manuals have gotten me so far and was wondering if there are any tips or tutorials that will show me the ABC's
Much appreciated.
