MPC 1000 Rapid Pad Hits Problem

Hey gang,

I recently fell into a problem yesterday when I was creating a sequence. I found that if I ever tried to, for example, consecutively hit the snare pad rapidly similar to a 16th note tempo, it would not record all the hits. Is there a setting that fixes this that I am missing? It reads the first hit and the last pretty much. Even if I tried to record more snare hits on another track to fill in the blanks, it will not record them. Any help is much appreciated!

you have TC on. turn off time correction and you'll be able to record at a higher resolution.

Might be a sensitivity issue.

try changing the pad sensitivity. i had the same for a while and that seemed to clear it up
