the sample is fine when i rekord and trim but when i assign it to a pad e\/en with full \/elosity on it's quiet as shit

you have a bunch of places to change your level.

are you using jjos?

create a new program. you've probably accidentally changed a parameter and didn't realize it.


enter program mode/GPE. assign a sample to a pad.
look for the LVL parameter for your pad, make sure it's at 100 (default is 80)
enter MIXER mode, make sure your level for the pad is up
enter MAIN mode and make sure that your track velocity is at 100% (leave it there)
make sure all your filters are off, fx off, etc.
