Hey dude. I'm runnin the exact same set-up as you with the mpc spidif outs connected into Firebox spidif ins. I find it sometimes takes a few tries to properly sync both units up with spdif. First get the latest Firebox driver (2.46 I think) Then connect spdif out of mpc to spdif in of Firebox breakaway cables (red one). In Firebox control panel switch to SPDIF. The red light should blink (signifying the unit has no digital syn) until u power up the mpc. If all goes well the blinking red light on Firebox should turn solid blue indicating spdif sync is enabled. If not, try setting the clock back to Internal in Firebox control panel, turn off the mpc and try above steps again. Next go to Ableton live set up an audio track Arm it and set track input to 5/6 (your spdif input on Firebox) Hit play on mpc and u should hear it in Live. your probably like me, wanting to use spdif connections on Firebox to conserve your other analog ins for other gear (Firebox ony has 4 analog ins) Plus the digital outs of mpc sound to. Thats the easy part for me. Im have nuff troubles correctly syncing the mpc to Ableton via midi. I find im having lots of latency issues with Firebox eventhough the latency is 2ms, the lowest latency the Firebox offers. Startin to think i should get a new audio interface and csell the Firebox. I have set up the Delay compensation in Live and tried everything the forums and instructions have said. But anything i record from the Mpc into Live is slightly off. I find i have to warp anything I record from the mpc in order for it to snap to grid and line up with other stuff i have in Live. Using the mpc as the master yeilds better results than using it as a slave. But i really want to slave the mpc into Live so i can control my project with my Berhinger BCF (mackie emulation mode) Let me know how you make out.

:D that helped me alot. now it works to send the audio from the mpc to the firebox digital.
have u managed to get audio digital from the firebox to the mpc?..dont work for me..maybe because i cant change the bitrate from 24 to 16 in the audio-midi-setup..

would be nice, because my turntable runs throuh a phono-amp into the firebox, but i cant record it into the mpc digital
