MPC 1000 Emulator?

So I've been exploring the MPC 1000 on my own and learning a lot (and having a blast), but I'm out of town for a few week's w/out my MPC and I'm anxious to keep it up. Is there an MPC emulator that will let me keep working w/ the MPC OS (JJ or Akai) on my Mac?

not sure of an emulator, maybe use the time to make yourself up some programs..

There was some excitement when JJ first launched his free sequencer for PC a few years back. It didnt last long, and development came to an abrupt halt. Limited compatability with MPC1000 and MPC2500, see link for details.
