Play samples in trim mode

I started using trim mode to chop up samples lately instead of doing it on the laptop all the time. my question is, when i am in trim mode and looking at the wave form for the sample im workin with is there anyway to play it? this would be helpful to help me match what i see with what i hear to chop better. this seems pretty basic but i cant seem to figure out how to do it without saving and going to the load screen to play the sample but on the load screen i get no visual representation of what im hearing (wave form)
