but ive open the sh!t up and visually nothing looks out of line. If i let it sit for days without turning it on and decide to turn it on ill get maybe 6 hours of usage out of it.

If theres no sound output, the problem isnt your lcd. mayhaps your ram chip got shaken up. getting a replacement should cost nothing so its worth a shot.

Hardware is shaken up, you won't see bits and bytes being misaddressed man. Sorry to say it might be like internal bleeding.

intermittent failure (as opposed to brick) sounds more like bad RAM than anything else. but either way, 16mb is probably like $5 so it couldn't hurt to try it out. cheaper than replacing the lcd even.

months later.....
To follow up on this problem i had, just like to let everyone know i fixed it. I ended up taking the whole thing apart dusting it, and putting it back together. Hasn't given me any problems since. I think maybe a loose ribbon was the case?
im not to sure but I'm happy to be making beats again.
