So this maybe basic, might not. Does anyone else have a 'Generic' drum patch, then label all their (e.g.) snares as Snare1, Snare2, kicks as Kick1, Kick2,etc? That way the program can remain and loading the samples slots them all neatly into place.

EDIT:
of course keeping the separate 'kits' separate in folders so you know which is which!

Have you tried autoload? Just set everything up the way you like: bpm, tracknames sequence defaultname, midi settings etc.
Then save is in a folder called AUTOMAP. Then it's all loaded up when starting up.

I have template for different progams, drums, percussion, sample chop (NDC), samples oneshots en instr programs.

Try to keep kick hats and snares on the same pads, this way you can try out different kits/programs on a beat.
