o man, where to start? they are both digital samplers. You will still hear the crackle of a dirty record on both. i mean no reason not to. Its CD quality sound, that is 16 bit.
Newer DACs to. Its not more digitized, different sample rate maybe, not more digitized in any way. unless you have some kind of tape in your 2000 but I doubt it. Its digital.
