Tascam US-122 MKII Interface in Chain ?

Hi,

I have a MPC 1000 ,tuurntable,preamp plugged into the MPC.
I want to buyTascam US-122 MKII usb audio interface to get better quality for my samples before I use them in MPC.


I know i can sample straight to mpc then transfer sample to pc by usb(before i use them in MPC) then save the sample by any daw in 96 khz 24 bit- to get quality witch Tascam Interface delivers,then again to MPC to finnaly use them.

Is it good idea ?

Personally I don't see how adding the Tascam into the equation is going to improve anything. And does the MPC1000 load 24bit/96khz samples? I'm not so sure about that. If you prefer to edit your samples on the computer and load them into the MPC as 16bit/44.1khz, then the Tascam will let you do that.
