So I installed JJ OS 3.15 and I've been messing around with it by reading the manuals and looking at some youtube videos.

However, I'm still lost because I don't know exactly where to start.

Can anybody recommend what a beginner like me should do?
Are there any good series of tutorial videos on youtube?
Is the "beat making on the mpc 1000" guide worth purchasing?

Thanks for your help guys

I literally just downloaded the beat making on the 1000
On Friday and I cannot tell you how impressed I am
With it , it it is probably the most detailed , easy to
Understand tutorial I've seen yet .In my opinion
The Samples and programs that come with it alone are worth the $39
The book is invaluable for a new user.
It will propel you WAY quicker into making some cool
Sh!t and maybe even show you some things
You might not have known your Mpc could do.
Hope this helped
If you get stuck on anything , you can always
Post a question here also , most on here are pretty cool
And will answer pretty quickly .

I didn't read that, but I saw 100% possitive opinions on here about it. If you ain't got idea what to do in a first place, maybe you should go for it.
Manual just shows you paths on operating the machine and than you need some creativity and basic music terminology to actually use those paths.

Shiet I would cop that if I had JJOSXL but, for now, I only have the free ver.

I think I'm going to go ahead and purchase the Beat Making guide because I need to start somewhere and since I bought my MPC used, it'll be a good investment using the money I saved.
