Making wav files work on the mpc 24bit sample rate to 16bit

So i found allot of dope drum sounds and ive searched through them and sorted out wich ones i like, but big problem when i try to load em on the mpc. i found out that most of them are 24bit sample rate. is there any program for mac or pc wich can convert these by folder or sumthing so i dont have to load up 1000 files on audacity and 1by1 fixing them over to 16bit and 44.1khz ?

Surely Audacity has a batch conversion option?

Yeah it does, I've personally never used it so I couldn't say wither it's any good or not. But i found this in the audacity manual

I use iTunes. It can batch to by just selecting them all at the same time, and if you sort by time added it makes it easier to

How do you do it in itunes, like guiding what to click should i make playlist with the sounds or ?

drag and drop your samples so they appear in iTunes. Set iTunes to sort by date added for ease of use by clicking the column that says date added at top.
You might have to add that, depends if it is not showing that column by right clicking at the top and selecting date or what ever you want.

Now go to preferences in menu to open preferences and then hit the button called import settings. Then select wave encoder, then select custom menu under that and set to 44.1kHz and 16 bit and Auto for stereo mono choice. Then close it and go to your samples and use shift button to select all the samples. Then Right click on the selected samples and it will show import wave. when you import wave it will then make all the samples selected into wave files as per choice in preferences.

if you want to make MP3s set it back in preferences to mp3.
