Samples Duplicated/Samples Won't Play (Transfer Issue?)

Hey gang,

Can't quite figure this one out...

I've used a program called "Switch" to convert all of my samples to 44.1K 16-bit but when I got to load them up in the 1K... some times a few of them will duplicate themselves a few times (3-4 times) and some of them just won't play at all.

This is becoming a huge issue. I have a bunch of samples and really want to get bangin' with 'em but I really do not want to spend the time to transfer gigs and then only be able to use 1/2 of 'em.

There seems to be no real rhyme or reason to this. Wish I could be more specific too, but again, it just seems random to me (at this point in time).

Just to add:
I noticed that the ones that have duplicated (have the same name/same sample sound) have different memory sizes. I'm not too sure what is causing this but it is hugely annoying.
