16GB Compact Flash Card + MPC1000 = WIN.

My 16gig card finally arrived in the mail today after a gruelling 2 month wait. For anyone looking for confirmation, I'm excited to announce that it has successfully worked with my MPC1000!!

prolly would've been easier and faster to go down to Spadina & College

shipping from DX usually takes a month, I didn't even expect it to get the 16gb because they sent me an email saying it was sold out/back ordered :S I guess it was worth it though because this is the cheapest I've found a 16gb anywhere, and the shipping was free.

Sort of off-topic.... but I got the 8GB Kingston card (with the weeds on the front of it ) for my MPC2000XL and it works great. I've always used Kingston CF cards with no problems.

sandisk ultra pro or whatever its called also works and you should be able to pick them up from just about any camera/electronics shop.

Thats good to have confirmed.

Now if someone could test a CF3 to clear up whether thats viable.
Sometimes it seems like a CF3 is cheaper to find then the older standard.

I've got about ten or so gigs of stuff on there, which is why it shows as about 53gb
