I bought a used mpc and need to clean it out

hey guys, so i bought the 1000 a few weeks ago used off ebay. now i dont know if these programs were left on the internal memory from the previous owner or what. but there are a bunch of preset tracks everytime i turn it on. the bars are set to 25 for some reason... its all out of whack and I'm pretty OCD when it comes to this sort of stuff. how can i delete the previous stuff permanently and perhaps set my own default settings as to BARS bpm etc???

Just picked up the 1000 I'm in the hospital and only have a phone to do my research on this, I need a quick path in this procedure , please help lamp; can't find that folder etc
