A little help loading files from disc of 2000xl to 1000

I'm new to the 1000 but I have been using the 2000xl for years. My cl has the upgraded flash drive in it. When I put the drive into the 1000, it doesn't read and of the sounds but it does read the names of the files only..what do I need to do?

Should work without a problem.
Is it actually loading the files or can you only see them on the card?
Go to the program page , select your program and check if the files are there.
Make sure you have the program selected on the sequence page and try the pads.

Sorry if these are obvious things you have already tried but you haven't given much info.

When I select mode-load..I can see the program I want to load up. I hit "do it" I can see it loading, then it says "file not found!"

Not sure why that would happen but...
It is possible the files on the card have been corrupted, maybe if the card was opened in the computer.
If you still have the 2000XL, load up the program and samples on there and then re-save them to a freshly formatted CF card and see if that works in the MPC1000.
