How do I get reaper to pick up audio from my mpc

I have a fairy new Asus laptop and a mpc 1000 with jjos 1 5.00

When I enter reaper it asks me to select my audio device and thats about as far as I get.

Can anyone offer any help?

Yes...you select your audio device.

now you can tell someone else to RTFM but not if you dont start to RTFM

dunno why you're here, but clearly you should at least flick through mpc's and reaper's manuals...

Ya i feel ya champ. Just apply that good ole canadian inginuity and read thru the site to learn something about your gear, thats why you're here, eh? Do it quick before that Apollo gig tho and ur good.

recording your mpc in reaper is quite straightforward

1 start a new project, create an audio track. track menu : click on create an audio track
2 arm your track, with the red button
3 start your recording with the record button

always somebody ready to do someone elses homework

just goes to show how easy it might have been to crack that manual
