Has anyone bought and tried there new kit with the rubber feet you must put on bottom of the HD? If so, does it get move or get disconnected if you travel with the 1k?

the one I bought screws to the chassis, so it should never move. Never seen the rubber feet version, must be an update

The part that MPCStuff is selling as the hard drive adapter HAS to be a common computer/electronics part. There HAS to be someone here who knows which part they're using. It's just the IDE to XXX connector and some rubber feet. I can't justify paying almost $50 including shipping for something like that.

This is a HDM-10
This is just an adapter with some feet to hopefully keep it from moving
One is something you buy the other is something you rig up yourself.
The 2500 came with an empty HDM10 and the MPC1k has been out of production for a good while so most palces are saying the HDN10 is no longer available.
What MPCStuff has listed should work but you could make it just as easy yourself.
