Question about samples.

So, I just got my MPC1000 a week ago, and tried loading my own samples, it worked but, while a built-in sound will play through on tapping a pad, these sounds cut off the second I take pressure off the pad. Can this be fixed by me, or is it just how the sample is? Thanks.

you need to read the manual. take your sample out of 'note on' mode and set to 'one shot' mode. this is in the program settings
