Hello everyone.

I'm using my mpc1000 as the central midi master of my live kit.
I control 2 midi synthesizers, one for bass and the other for arpeggios.
It works great.

But now i would like to add a loop pedal and be able to send a midi time code so it gets synchronized with the bpm and loops in the right tempo.

My question is how to do this, as my two midi outputs A & B are already used for my two syths. What are my options? Midi thru frm one of the synths? Is there another option like a midi box split?

Thanks for your help.

All the best,

Edu

You've half or fully answered your own question. More midi ports, or use thru.

Connect it to the MIDI thru of one of your synths.

Send MIDI Clock (MIDI Beat Clock) to that MPC output.

MIDI Time Code (MTC) only sends time position information, not tempo, you need to use MIDI Clock to send tempo/bpm information.
