Black LCD / Midnight Blue LCD Same Thing?

Hi guys, Looking for a better screen for my 1000 and I like the black screen but it is like $30 more than a screen available on ebay from England that is listed as midnight blue.

Are they the same thing with different names? Anyone seen them both in person?

I have the midnight blue screen on my MPC1000, in fact that's my MPC1000 in the listing

It's not black and it's a completely different screen to the black ones that MPC Stuff sell (different screen manufacturer, different tech specs).

It really is as the name suggests, it's a very deep dark blue like you'd see on a moonlit night. It's a beautiful screen and lovely on the eyes. In the flesh it's darker than the photos show, but it's definitely not black.

I like the blue idea better than black. Is the visibility about the same improvement on both or is one noticably better?

I think the midnight blue is good enough but in the listing it looks like they got a black one in the 2500 pics, if they're that similar then the cheaper blue is the way to go.
