MPC1000 and Computer -> Audio Interface -> Speakers

Alright, so, my MPC1000 is gonna be here in a couple days and I also ordered some KRK Rokit 5 G3's.

I have been looking for hours in all possible forums and haven't found an answer to my question yet.
I want to use the KRK Rokit 5 G3's as speakers to listen to my music on my computer and from I understand I would need an Audio Interface for better quality (I had the PreSonus Audiobox USB in mind ). Obviously I wanna use the speakers for my MPC
as well.

How do I connect my computer to the speakers? Do I even need to go MPC1000 -> Audiobox -> Speakers or just straight up MPC1000 -> Speakers.
I'm asking because it seems like I couldn't even connect both the computer and the MPC1000 to the Audiobox at the same time.

Whats up homie!! What I recommend is using a mixer something like a Behringer Eurorack 602/802 or any mixer with multiple inputs to do all your routing. Im currently using a Focurite Pro24 Audio Interface, that I a absolutely love and its output is routed to my Behringer Xenyx 1204 with the output to the speakers. Same goes for my 1k the outputs are routed to the mixer then to the interface through the mixer. So basically a mixer will resolve most if not all of your audio routing issues. Also there are Firewire mixers that double as audio interfaces, so really there are a bunch of options to choose from. I hope this helps man. Good Luck

Not sure if this is what you mean, but this is how id do it:

Plug your speakers to the "OUT" or "MONITOR" on your interface.
Make sure your computer is using your interface as your audio output device of choice.
If your interface has 2 inputs, you can plug your MPC to it from your stereo out stereo L+R.
Then open your recording software and make 2 blank audio tracks, assign inputs 1 and 2.
and arm both tracks to record, you should be able to hear the sound coming from the speakers.
