I have my main outs of the MPC 1000, going into Stereo Channel #1 on my mixer. I'm using the Aux Outs of the mixer for a reverb unit, that is returning back onto Stereo Channel #4 of my mixer.

I want to play Stereo one shot samples off my MPC 1000, into my Sp sampler, to pick up FX. And then Re-Trigger those samples off the SP, on the MPC 1000 via MIDI.

Is it possible to use the assignable outs (in my case it would be out 1 & 2, for stereo correct?), to play out a separate signal into another machine?

yup..

side tip - if ya using thru effects of the sp then just leave the samples on the mpc1000 and have it act as an effect module, running the outs from the sp sampler to the mixer - saves chopping again.

alright cool, so what if I wanted to run this:

MPC Main outs -> Mixer
MPC Assignable Outs 1 and 2 -> Sp 303 inputs
Sp 303 outputs -> MPC Record Ins

Would this cause feedback? I'm scared to try, i don't want to damage my speakers and ears :oops: thank you man

should be sweet, just set the mixer to input through so you can hear it while your on the MAIN page.

As the signals going out of the mains when it comes back out i don't think its an issue, just dont set the record input to monitor from 1/2 then you'll get a loop!

could even record monitor out of 3/4 and have a separate signal for your sp303 funk.
