PGM created with MPC Maid records wrong pads....

Hi There -

This is my first post, just got done restoring a MPC 1000 I picked up for $50 at a local guitar center. Got it working perfectly, and I decided to grab MPC Maid to quickly convert a bunch of drum samples I've been accumulating over the years into MPC programs.

I did two of them, and all was well. However after doing several more I have run into a strange problem.

If I load one of the programs I created, they play back just fine. However when I record them, it's almost as if the sequencer records 2 pads over to the left or something.

I know one other person mentioned this issue before. I know it's not the samples 'cause if I create a program with the same samples using the MPC, it works out great.

Any ideas? I'm gonna give Pad 187 a try and see how that works. However I like MPC Maid 'cause it's cross platform and I can use it on my Linux desktop.

Hi! did you manage to solve the problem?

I am having the same issue... When playing the pads the samples sound as i set them on MpcMaid. But if i hit record, the pads start triggering other pads. If i build a program inside the MPC1000 everything works as expected, but its a pain in the arse to build programs on that screen.

Ok, so I might have find a solution... (dunno if you also have). haven't tried it yet, as I am at work, but will try this afternoon

I love MpcMaid for its option to apply changes to all pads and I like how straight forward it is. I believe I could biuld all my programs in MpcMaid and then import them to MPC Pad 187 (which does work properly) and export from there to the MPC. I hope this does work, if not, I guess ill have to get used to MPC Pad 187, although I don't like it that much
