Hello ... I have simple question about the time correction
Say im writing a song on my MPC and I have my drums set at 1/8 with a swing for sequence 1
then I have a sample I would like to throw over that beat but it sounds best with no time correction
Can you set time correction for different sequences or tracks or does the time correct stay the same through out my whole project
or
Can I record the sample over my sequence with the drums and then turn off the time correct for pattern 2.
Thanks a lot

You can set the time correction for any part that you are currently working on whether it be playing stuff in on the pads or editing a part you already recorded.
In fact you can even have the TC set differently for different sections of the same track. It's very flexible.

You can also apply the TC after you have recorded a track.
By using the TC page to set the note or range of notes you
want to affect and also set the time portion of the track to correct.

Your guys are awesome ... have been playing around with it more and have realized everything you guys said checks out. Was writing a beat at 1/8 switched sequence to 1/32 with hi hats and original beat stayed clean :worthy: :smoker: :P
