Value my mpc 1000

Hi!

I'm looking to sell my 2nd hand mpc 1000 and was wondering what would be a decent asking price nowadays!
Here are the specs:

Black model with black back plate (these were the newer models AFAIK so the pads are good)
64GB internal hard drive fitted with tons of drum machines (I'm talking a lot!)
128MB ram upgrade
JJOS1
8Gb cf card

I bought it for 700 euro last year for the purpose of a drum machine but unfortunately it didn't suit my needs. I don't want to waste it's potential as it's a real best of a machine and capable of much more..so I'm letting it go!

I think units with one-sheet pads installed at factory have "mpc1000BK-N" on the back, but for real you would have to drag one and if any of other pads move this will be one-sheet.

I was about to go off to Ebay to look, but TBH you could have a go at this yourself in the ebay site for your country:

1. Go to Ebay
2. Search for 'MPC1000'
3. Scroll down the left hand side and check 'Show only sold listings'
4. Look at the 'sold' prices of the MPC1000s that are of similar spec to yours.

BTW, black MPC1000 with black back panel is NOT guaranteed to be new pads. The best way to know is to open her up and take a look. Otherwise wiggle a pad and if the adjacent pads also wiggle, then it's the new pads (i.e. they use a single pad sheet for all pads).

Price will of course depend on condition, the drum machine samples would not impact the price IMO as most of these are available for free all over the place, but I'd say in the UK, your spec would go for around £400, i.e. around 550 EUR.

Tutor´s right. Here in Germany those tend to sell for around 500 €, give or take...

Hey thanks for the quick replies! When i wiggle a pad the other pads do not move so perhaps I am incorrect in saying they are the newer pads?
Item is in perfect condition, no scratches or bad buttons. Yeah i thought 550-600 would be a decent price and after looking on ebay it does seem to fall in line a little with whats there!
