wHo uses a Midi Controller with There MPC???

i cant get my midi controller working with my mpc.

I had a E-mu Xboard and it didnt work at all with the mpc1000.

It worked great with my MPC4000

so i bought a new Radium Controller and it doesnt at all work with the mpc1000.

I have a old yamah Djx and it worked as a midi Controller WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE MPC1000?

i use a radium with my mpc and it works great...you got your settings right? read up in the manual...it does work, and it REALLY helps when using the mpc to control sound modules or software.

can u please tell what exact setting u are using?

I got OS 2.10 and i aint getting no luck at all using my controller with my mpc.

these are my settings

Active Track Recieve channle.ALL

Soft Thru:AS TRACK

Sequence Change Program change :ON

Pad to internal Sound:ON

can't do it right now bro sorry, my friend took my radium back. a new one is being shipped to me as we speak. i'll let you know then. meanwhile, check out the manual - i followed its suggestion and it worked perfectly.

what about ur mpc setttings?

NOw u wish u still had your 4k dont u? But anyways u already posted somethin like this in this same section i believe. Did u do what i told u to in the other thread?

On the main screen in the currently selected track, what is midi channel set to? is it set to the right port/ch ur trying to send to???

ALRIGHT I GOT IT 2 WORK IT WAS THE SETTINGS ON THE RADIUM.

now when i hit the keys the sounds are normal then when i record a few notes theres a sustain added by the mpc how to i turn that off?

And no i dont wish i had my mpc4000 im loving the black box.

i fixed it Problem Solved im officaly back on track now im loving the mpc1000.
