Newbie: Advise wanted

Ordered an MPC 1000 from eBay so thought I would register and introduce myself.

Are there any resources/youtube videos etc you recommend fora beginner? I've already ordered the beat making tutorial.

Is the paid jjos worth getting over the free version?

I mostly interested in making instrumental hip hop but feel I will struggle with finding the correct key of my samples? Any tips?

Last question! Are there any great hip hop sounds you recommend (free or paid).
