Hello.
I'm trying to figure out how the Akai sequences are structured (reverse-engineering the binary format).
My intent is to publish the format specification as public-domain once it's done.
I managed to understand sequences from my MPC500 with all the events it can generate and now I'd like to tackle sequences from other models too...
Could you send some of your sequences, or better create a new sequence with as many events as possible? (play some pads, record some q-link, etc.)
From reading the MPC1000 manual, it seems that Pad Event & Real Time Event (q-links) are the only events that are different from MPC500, so theoretically those are the only two ones I really need.
